The pleasure one gets reconciled with life and makes you forget the worries and difficulties. The new book on the kitchen Procida, published by "Fioranna", by Maria Iovine, which will be presented on Thursday 31 July, at 20, the Chiaiolella within the Book Fair, is in its kind a sort of raid, rich lyrical ideas and loving, in the culinary traditions of the island. And it is also a celebration in memory of the many women who have dedicated Procida years to cook for others, in the family and in restaurants, often need to, but more often for the sake of art. Why prepare a dish is above all an act of love and passion. And speaking, already in the subtitle, of "Procida in the kitchen" as if to underline, in an age like the present where behind the stove are the masters males, the importance of women in the kitchen.
